[my new-old photography toy]
My mother & father in law bought me a Kodak Duaflex IV from eBay for my birthday. The Duaflex IV is a twin lens reflex (TLR) camera that was manufactured in 1957. It was very affordable and helped make photography more accessible to the masses in a similar way that digital photography has today. Within the past several years a creative relationship between the digital age and TLR age has emerged...and me likes! Below are a couple pics of my Duaflex (and a light blocking contraption I built from cardboard and black duct tape) and a couple pics taken "through the viewfinder (TTV)"

Those are some amazing pics. It's amazing to think about how much the technology of the day contributes to our view of history. Those photos look so old school.
